Havel Spree Colloquium 2010 at Freie Universität Berlin
Young plant scientist from Berlin and Potsdam visited the Havel Spree Colloquium on December 7th, 2010. The event was organized by PhD students of DCPS.
PhD students of two DCPS member groups - Romeis and Witte (now at Leibniz Universität Hannover) - formed the organizing committee of Havel Spree Colloquium (HSC) 2010. More than 40 PhD students from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, University of Potsdam, Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology and Freie Universität Berlin followed their invitation to attend the colloquium at Freie Universität Berlin. During four different sessions, 19 PhD students provided impressions of their research projects in oral presentations. The scientific program of HSC 2010 covered a broad range of research interests: from signal transduction and adaptation to stress to development and DNA transfer as well as metabolism and senescence.
